Kinley is such a lucky little girl; she had one birthday party in Oregon and then one in Georgia. It was so nice to ba able to share Kinley's 1st birthday with our friends and family in Oregon. My grandparents flew up from California just to spend the weekend with Kinley. We also have wonderful friends who traveled up from Eugene and down from Portland, and of course lots of friends from Salem joined us. It's great to have supportive friends and family!
We decided we wanted to also celebrate Kinley's birthday in Georgia, because all our friends in Georgia step in to be our family when family is so far away :). We are grateful for great friends who are so good to us, and can love our sweet girl as much as we do! We were lucky for great weather so we could have Kinley's party at the park.

We are pretty pathetic bloggers!
It is pretty sad that the last time we updated the blog was 6 days before Kinley was born. Well, today she is 13 months, and I can't believe how fast time has gone! I've asked Jason so many times to update our blog because it is not my thing, but here I am trying to update you all on our crazy life.
Well, here is how last year went for us:
February 27th Kinley was born :)
My dad and two youngest siblings arrived the day we came home from the hospital. It was so nice to have family here!
In April Jason's parents, youngest brother, and Cousin Brittany came out to visit. We got to celebrate Easter with them, and took a trip to the Atlanta Temple for the open house.
In June we had the opportunity to drive to Wisconsin for a Benjamin family reunion. Kinley met a lot of new faces, including her Uncle Drake and Auntie Maria.
In August we got to surprise family by showing up at the Eliason family reunion in Idaho. Kinley got to meet a lot of new people here too, including her Uncle Kyle, Uncle Erik and Aunt Carissa.
After the reunion Kinley and I flew to Oregon and spent a couple weeks with my family. And in lieu of Kinley's 6th month we took her to have her ears pierced.
In December we flew back to Oregon and spent a week with our families. We were very lucky to be able to have all the Eliasons together. We even got to meet our sweet nephew, Ethan, for the first time.
After our week in Oregon, we flew to San Diego. My brother is currently stationed there with the Coast Guard. It was beautiful weather, and a great way to spend Christmas. Our last day in SoCal, we spent at Six Flags Magic Mountain. We had a lot of fun, and Kinley was such a trooper!
Well, that is our year in a nut shell.

Well, here is how last year went for us:
February 27th Kinley was born :)
Jason and my mom were amazing in the delivery room! Jason had the greatest opportunity to catch our sweet girl on her way out, and my mom cut the cord. He did a great job and looked great in his outfit!

May 8th was a really cool day for us. First of all it was my first Mother's Day. Second, May 8th is always Jason's birthday ;). And the best part of the day was having our sweet baby girl blessed. Jason being able to bless Kinley on his birthday and Mother's Day was awesome, but we also had my mom visiting which was so special.
Kinley had a beautiful dress that my mom had bought her before she was born for her blessing day. Unfortunately, she could not fit it. At 2.5 months Kinley had still not moved out of newborn clothes. Fortunately, she had a very sweet outfit that worked much better. Kinley was a very difficult baby from about 4 weeks on. Even from her first few days she would not stay asleep when passed from one person to the next. I was quite worried that she would scream through her blessing. She surprised me and was the most perfect child. She fell asleep on the way to church, but stayed asleep when I got her out. She stayed asleep when I handed her to Jason, and slept through her entire blessing and the rest of sacrament meeting. It was the perfect day!In June we had the opportunity to drive to Wisconsin for a Benjamin family reunion. Kinley met a lot of new faces, including her Uncle Drake and Auntie Maria.

Morgan's not feeling too well. Mostly cause there's this enormous growth on her abdomen. And then she wanted me to blog and show pictures of how much she's grown. So here you go.
